BANDETTE by Paul Tobin and Colleen Coover is one of our favorite comics. So when, on the same day, it was announced that the digital-only Bandette was nominated for FOUR Eisner awards, and that the fourth issue is now available from Comixology, we knew we needed to do something to celebrate. The answer? Four sketchcards!

Terry Blas drew the second. Like all of Terry’s work, this piece is snazzy. It’s 2.5 ” by 3.5.” Ink and marker on cardstock. Terry is best known for his webcomic, Briar Hollow.

Colleen Coover pencilled and Steve Lieber inked and watercolored this sketchcard of B. D. Belgique, the long-suffering police officer eternally foiled by BANDETTE. (They’re from the comics series of the same name illustrated by Coover and written by Paul Tobin.)
